Our History

t7 :T.I.G. Tessuti Indemagliabili Greggi (raw warp knitted fabrics) was born in 1995 as a company skilled in production and trading of Nylon and Polyester warp knitted fabrics. In the early years, the company relied fabric production on contractors buying its own selected yarn. In this time the company traded mainly industrial products, supplying markets and customers needing goods economically attractive and able to satisfy their quality and technical requirements. This industrial connotation allowed T.I.G. to be known immediately for its distinctive feature of raw fabrics trader, increasing its turnover and improving its reputation toward clients every year. In 2002 consolidation of the market positioning and identification of new commercial spaces, allowed T.I.G. to start its own manufacturing plant in Busto Arsizio. The new and state of the art machines gave the company the opportunity to be entirely self-sufficient in production and able to develop new products. These features allowed the company to grow constantly and to look out to new markets, increasing its customer base. In 2008, T.I.G established in Hungary a new production company named Zalafabric (placed in Turje, near Balaton Lake), including a new warping department and a further warp knitting unit.
